St. Laurence has gone a perfect 3-0 against Shepard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Astros at 4:30 p.m. St. Laurence is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, St. Laurence earned a 2-0 victory over De La Salle.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Shepard beat Bremen 2-0 on Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shepard was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13.

The win got St. Laurence back to even at 12-12. As for Shepard, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.

St. Laurence came out on top in a nail-biter against Shepard in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
