Volleyball Recap: North Daviess Comes Up Short

North Daviess lost against Evansville Christian back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alexis Tolbert paced North Daviess' offense, picking up nine kills. Tolbert got some help from Ella Woodruff and her 19 assists. Journey Seals and Adalyn Smith kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Evansville Christian can attribute much of their success to Jocee Weisenborn, who had 11 digs and one assist.

North Daviess' loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Evansville Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

North Daviess didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against South Knox on the 6th. As for Evansville Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Boonville on the 7th.
