Preview: Syracuse Rockets vs. Yutan Chieftains
The Syracuse Rockets will be playing at home against the Yutan Chieftains at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Syracuse is ranked 131st, while the Chieftains are ranked 139th).
Last Tuesday, Syracuse was beaten by the Falcon 74-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Syracuse has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Yutan beat the Lions 50-39 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Yutan.
Syracuse dropped their record down to 7-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Yutan, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
Syracuse didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Chieftains when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 48-43 win. Does Syracuse have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chieftains turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
