Football Recap: East Forsyth Starts off Right with Win over Forsyth Central + How To Watch

East Forsyth had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past the Forsyth Central Bulldogs with a 19-15 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chase Rhoads threw for 254 yards on 17 of 25 attempts. Jace Forrest was his top target, picking up 106 receiving yards. On the ground, Brooks Smallwood rushed for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

East Forsyth didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-16 win against Dawson County on the 22nd. As for Forsyth Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 57-34 defeat against Winder-Barrow on the 22nd.
