Softball Game Preview: Cisne Runnin' Lions vs. Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Eagles

Cisne hasn't had much luck against Odin/Patoka/Sandoval recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Runnin' Lions will head out to take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Cisne has given up an average of 17.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cisne is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 24th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Waltonville, falling 27-1.

Meanwhile, Odin/Patoka/Sandoval had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-10 margin over the Salukis.

Cisne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Odin/Patoka/Sandoval, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Cisne might still be hurting after the 24-2 loss they got from Odin/Patoka/Sandoval in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Runnin' Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
