Basketball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bishop Alemany Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Stars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Warriors are ranked 110th).

North's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Bishop Alemany, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-8.

North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-76 defeat against Centennial on the 19th. As for Bishop Alemany, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-52 win against Mayfair on the 19th.
