Soccer Recap: Union Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Union was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lebanon Pioneers by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Union have lost by just one goal.

Union is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Lebanon, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Union will face off against Volunteer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Union's defense better be ready for this one: Volunteer has averaged an impressive 5.8 goals per game this season. As for Lebanon, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ridgeview at 6:30 p.m. on April 7.
