Volleyball Recap: Neosho Wildcats vs. Bolivar Liberators

Neosho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bolivar Liberators. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Liberators apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Neosho ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Bolivar can attribute much of their success to Heidi Roweton, who had nine digs and two assists.

Neosho's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13-2. As for Bolivar, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-3.

Neosho didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Purdy on the 27th. As for Bolivar, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Harrisonville on the 27th.
