Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Bloomfield). They were the clear victor by an 86-65 margin over the Tuscumbia Lions on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak.

It was another big night for Jacob Fuhriman, who went 11-for-23 en route to 30 points along with five assists and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Jordan, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 16 points and three steals.

Fuhriman wasn't the only one working in the assist department: New Bloomfield was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

New Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 8-19. As for Tuscumbia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

As of now, neither New Bloomfield nor Tuscumbia have any future games scheduled.
