Soccer Game Preview: Campbell vs. Plymouth

Campbell will venture away from home to face off against the Plymouth Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Campbell barely beat Milford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Campbell's defense stepped up to hand Milford a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result kept Campbell happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 23rd.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Plymouth was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. Neither they nor Lebanon could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Campbell pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three matchups. With that draw, Plymouth's record moves to 5-5-3.

Everything went Campbell's way against Plymouth when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Campbell made off with a 5-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Campbell since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
