Lewis Cass is 0-3 against Whitko since May of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Kings will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Lewis Cass turned things around against Northwestern on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Tigers.

Ruth (Amma) Fitzhugh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
