Baseball Game Preview: Sheboygan Falls Falcons vs. Two Rivers Purple Raiders

Sheboygan Falls is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Two Rivers a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Sheboygan Falls Falcons will be playing at home against the Two Rivers Purple Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Sheboygan Falls has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sheboygan Falls came up short against Valders on Monday, falling 27-14. Even if the Falcons couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Easton Adelman was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off one hit. Adelman was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, Aiden Schmahl made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Rhett Albright, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Two Rivers came up short against Valders on Thursday and fell 5-1.

Two Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Sheboygan Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Sheboygan Falls might still be hurting after the 18-3 defeat they got from Two Rivers in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
