Volleyball Recap: Marion Center Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Marion Center was the 3-2 winner over Purchase Line when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Stingers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Dragons on Thursday.

Marion Center started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-22, 25-18, 25-12.

Purchase Line found their leader in freshman Leah Nelson, who had eight digs.

Marion Center's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Purchase Line, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Marion Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against West Shamokin on the 6th. As for Purchase Line, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Penns Manor on the 6th.
