The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hialeah in their matchups with Hialeah Gardens: they've now lost three in a row.
Westland Hialeah's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Hialeah, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1.
