The Southwest Onslow Stallions will challenge the Clinton Dark Horses at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southwest Onslow is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Southwest Onslow beat South Lenoir 38-32. Those 38 points were actually the fewest the Stallions have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Carlos Pagan had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 47% from the field to rack up 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Southwest Onslow's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Laney, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Clinton didn't have quite enough to beat Heide Trask on Tuesday and fell 63-60. The Dark Horses have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Southwest Onslow has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Southwest Onslow beat Clinton 56-43 in their previous matchup back in January. Do the Stallions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dark Horses turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
