Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Theo Roach and Daniel Sunkuli Lead Northridge to Victory

Northridge not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since December 20, 2024 (when they won 86-62). Everything went their way against the North Sanpete Hawks as they made off with a 47-26 victory.

Northridge was led to victory by Daniel Sunkuli and Theo Roach. Sunkuli went 6-for-10 on his way to 18 points, while Roach posted 15 points. The matchup was Sunkuli's third in a row with at least 17 points. Jett Williams was another key player, putting up four points and six steals.

Northridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Sanpete only racked up three.

Despite the loss, North Sanpete still got an impressive performance from James Clayton, who earned ten points and eight boards.

Northridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Sanpete, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Northridge will challenge West Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Sanpete, they will face off against Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
