Baseball Game Preview: Seckman Jaguars vs. Lindbergh Flyers

The Seckman Jaguars will venture away from home to take on the Lindbergh Flyers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Seckman came up short against Hillsboro and fell 10-6.

Meanwhile, Lindbergh suffered their closest loss since May 15, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Rockwood Summit by a score of 4-2. The Flyers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lindbergh saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Politte, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Seckman has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Lindbergh, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Seckman beat Lindbergh 6-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
