Basketball Recap: Fletcher Victorious

Clay came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Fletcher, but Wiley Crenshaw wouldn't allow it. The Fletcher Senators simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Clay Blue Devils 58-8 thanks in part to Crenshaw, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points along with six boards and three steals. Those 14 points gave her a new career-high.

Fletcher's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Clay, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Fletcher didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-23 win against Wolfson on the 13th. As for Clay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-27 loss against Middleburg on the 10th.
