Conemaugh Valley had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Ferndale on Wednesday. The Blue Jays were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Yellow Jackets. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Jays, who have now won four matches in a row.

Conemaugh Valley was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-12.

Makenna Campagna paced Conemaugh Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Campagna got some help from Kendra Dietz and her 14 assists. Madison Mccleester controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Conemaugh Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-12-1. As for Ferndale, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-18-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Conemaugh Valley and Juniata Valley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ferndale, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Shade on the 20th.
