Joliet West took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Sandburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers skirted past the Eagles 2-1. The win was nothing new for Joliet West as they're now sitting on six straight.

Alicia Casillas and Isabel Cordoba scored both of Joliet West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Joliet West's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Sandburg, they dropped their record down to 4-7-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
