Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canton). Everything went their way against the Delavan Panthers on Friday as the Canton Little Giants made off with a 74-48 win. The Little Giants have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

When it comes to explaining why Delavan lost, don't look at Bryson Horning. Despite the final result, he went 10 for 18 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. Kelton Nafzinger was another key player, putting up six points.

Canton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Delavan, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Canton will take on Pekin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delavan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-7 victory against Greenview on the 4th.
