Volleyball Recap: Kamryn Andrews and Meaalofa Tauaese Secure Win for Etiwanda + How To Watch

Etiwanda won the last time they faced Claremont and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolfpack. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Etiwanda had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-16.

Leading Etiwanda to victory were Meaalofa Tauaese and Kamryn Andrews. Tauaese had 13 assists and three aces, while Andrews had 14 assists and three digs. Tauaese is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Etiwanda was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Etiwanda now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Claremont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Etiwanda will face off against Temecula Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Claremont, they will head out to square off against Santa Margarita at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
