Football Game Recap: Spotsylvania vs. Caroline

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Spotsylvania and Caroline. Spotsylvania steamrollered Caroline 51-12. That's another feather in the cap for Spotsylvania, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Spotsylvania started the game off right with 27 first-half points. Meanwhile, Caroline couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 27-0 heading into the break. Spotsylvania put the matchup away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and six points allowed from the defense.

Next week Spotsylvania take on James Monroe at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Caroline, they will face off against Eastern View. Eastern View have averaged 42 points over the course of their past seven games, so Caroline might be in for a challenge.
