Baseball Recap: Pleasanton Takes a Loss

Pleasanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Central Heights Vikings, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Blu-Jays couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pleasanton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamden Staton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Pleasanton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Central Heights, their record is now 11-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Pleasanton by a score of 16-6 later that day.
