Basketball Recap: Howe Takes a Loss

After flying high against Central two weeks ago, Howe came back down to earth. The Howe Lions were outmatched by the Pocola Indians and fell 79-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since November 11, 2024.

Howe dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pocola, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Howe will venture away from home to take on Red Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pocola, they will host Wilburton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Pocola's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
