Mount Anthony is a perfect 4-0 against Springfield since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mount Anthony Patriots will venture away from home to square off against the Springfield Cosmos at 7:00 p.m. Mount Anthony has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 15.

Last Wednesday, Mount Anthony came up short against Brattleboro and fell 68-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (57), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springfield). They walked away with a 68-56 win over Long Trail on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cosmos.

The victory got Springfield back to even at 8-8. As for Mount Anthony, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Everything came up roses for Mount Anthony against Springfield when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured an 81-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Anthony since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
