Football Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence fell victim to Hollister and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haybalers. The 76ers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hollister, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Independence will challenge rival Saint Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hollister is set to take on their familiar foe Palma at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
