San Luis posted their closest victory since April 21, 2025 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Kofa Kings 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Sidewinders in their matchups with the Kings: they've now won three in a row.

Erick Espinoza tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits.

At the plate, San Luis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maximo Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

San Luis' record is now 13-6-1. As for Kofa, they moved to 12-8 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

San Luis will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Kings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
