Whitesboro is 10-0 against Pilot Point since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Whitesboro Bearcats will host the Pilot Point Bearcats at 3:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Whitesboro challenged Life Oak Cliff on Friday. Whitesboro snuck past Life Oak Cliff with a 57-53 victory. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Lions are ranked 855th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Boyd.

Whitesboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Pilot Point, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything came up roses for Whitesboro against Pilot Point when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 62-30 win. Does Whitesboro have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pilot Point turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
