Volleyball Recap: Deer River Comes Up Short

Deer River lost against North Woods back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the grizzlies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 23-25, 25-10, 25-10.

Deer River's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Woods, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Deer River has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Cass Lake-Bena on the 9th. As for North Woods, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against South Ridge on the 9th.
