Volleyball Recap: Questa Falls Short of Mccurdy in the Playoffs

Questa and McCurdy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Questa had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Despite the loss, Questa had strong showings from Ariana Medina, who had 14 digs, and Allison Segura, who had 17 digs and five assists.

The defeat snapped Questa's winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 19-5 record. As for McCurdy, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Questa will face off against Oak Grove Classical Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for McCurdy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Legacy Academy on the 13th.
