Volleyball Game Preview: Estrella Foothills Wolves vs. Westview Knights + Official Tickets

Estrella Foothills has gone a perfect 4-0 against Westview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wolves will look to defend their home court against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Estrella Foothills will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

If Deer Valley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Estrella Foothills, they should've done a better job of containing Gabby Coronado. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 win over the Skyhawks on Monday for which the team can thank Coronado, who had 14 assists and seven digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 16-25, 28-26, 25-12.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Westview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past Copper Canyon 3-0 on Monday. The Knights not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Westview's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-13.

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Estrella Foothills, their win bumped their record up to 18-5-5.

Estrella Foothills took their victory against Westview in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
