Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lawrence County

Lawrence County posted their closest victory since February 17th on Friday. They skirted past the Deshler Tigers 5-4. The win was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won three contests in a row.

The team relied heavily on Alivia Terry, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alivia Templeton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Lawrence County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Lawrence County's victory bumped their record up to 30-9-1. As for Deshler, they dropped their record down to 22-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
