Soccer Recap: Riverton/Tri-City Takes a Loss

Riverton/Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones. Riverton/Tri-City were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Julian Rice, who's now up to five this season.

Riverton/Tri-City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Sacred Heart-Griffin, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Coming up, Riverton/Tri-City will be playing at home against Athens/Greenview/Illini Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sacred Heart-Griffin, they will take on Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth in a tournament on Saturday.
