Willow Glen put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Clovis West Golden Eagles a 1-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Alanna Clincy's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Willow Glen's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cianna Miranda, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Willow Glen's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Clovis West, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-1.

Looking ahead, Willow Glen will square off against Encinal at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clovis West, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hollister at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
