Haven entered their tilt with Hesston on Friday with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Swathers. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Swathers, too.

Avery Brawner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. Brawner was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

In other batting news, Haven let Mayzie Warden and Sierra Yoder run wild. Warden went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Yoder went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Yoder a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caeli Hunninghake, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Haven was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hesston only posted a batting average of .250.

Haven's record is now 20-1. As for Hesston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Haven beat the Swathers by a score of 7-4 later that day.
