Baseball Recap: Copley's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Copley can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They never let the Firestone Falcons get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Copley's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brody Petry, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Hudson Able was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Copley's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Firestone, they dropped their record down to 13-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copley will take on Mayfield in a tournament on Thursday. As for Firestone, they will be taking part in a tournament against Barberton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
