Preview: Dulaney Lions vs. Patapsco Patriots
After two games on the road, Dulaney is heading back home. They will take on the Patapsco Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dulaney will be strutting in after a victory while Patapsco will be coming in after a loss.
Dulaney scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against Milford Mill Academy as Dulaney made off with a 62-40 win. Dulaney has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Patapsco's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 79-33 loss at the hands of Pikesville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Patapsco in their matchups with Pikesville: they've now lost seven in a row.
Dulaney has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Patapsco, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Dulaney against Patapsco in their previous meeting back in February of 2019 as the team secured a 55-9 victory. Does Dulaney have another victory up their sleeve, or will Patapsco turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
