Soccer Recap: South Gate Gets the Win

South Gate kept a clean sheet against Stella High Charter Academy on Thursday. It was close, but they capped 2024 with a 1-0 win over the Stella High Charter Academy Eagles. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Alexis Lopez, who's now up to seven this season.

South Gate's win bumped their record up to 5-3-2. As for Stella High Charter Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

South Gate didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Collins Family on the 26th. As for Stella High Charter Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Lakewood on the 26th.
