Volleyball Recap: Bureau Valley Comes Up Short

Bureau Valley lost against ROWVA/Williamsfield back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Storm fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1.

The 2-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Bureau Valley lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 31-29, 23-25, 25-23.

ROWVA/Williamsfield found their leader in sophomore Eliza Tucker, who had 18 digs. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Tucker.

Bureau Valley's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-15. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 29-6.

Bureau Valley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Riverdale on the 23rd. ROWVA/Williamsfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
