Basketball Recap: University Liggett Comes Up Short

University Liggett was the 51-48 winner over Lake Shore when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The University Liggett Knights fell to the Lake Shore Shorians 72-68. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Jason Pruitt Ii, who went 10-for-16 en route to 26 points and six rebounds for Lake Shore. Adam Rach was another key player, going 7-for-11 on his way to 20 points.

University Liggett's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Lake Shore, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

University Liggett has already played their next game, a 59-51 defeat against Lutheran North on the 21st. As for Lake Shore, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-52 victory against Warren Woods-Tower on the 21st.
