Having just played yesterday, the Greeley Central Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Northridge Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Greeley Central had to suffer through a 65-31 loss at the hands of Timnath. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Cubs are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, Northridge was fully in charge on Monday, breezing past Weld Central 47-18. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Northridge found their leader in sophomore Sophia Carbajal, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Carbajal is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Bailey McGeen was another key player, putting up six points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Northridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weld Central only posted five assists.

Greeley Central has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Northridge, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
