Football Recap: Fountain Hills Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Fountain Hills had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Payson Longhorns and fell 51-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Payson had a senior duo take command as Nolan Keeney rushed for 31 yards and a pair of TDs and Marco Guereque picked up 59 receiving yards and three scores.

Fountain Hills has already played their next matchup, a 52-14 loss against Parker on the 28th. As for Payson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 47-21 win against Page on the 29th.
