Soccer Recap: Harding Takes a Loss

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Highland Hornets, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Harding can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 409th, while Highland are ranked 11th).

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Highland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-1-2 record this season.

Harding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highland, they will square off against Perry at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
