            Baseball Preview: Randallstown Rams vs. Lansdowne Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            The Randallstown Rams will head out to  take on the Lansdowne Vikings  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Randallstown has three straight  victories, Lansdowne has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday,  it was close, but  Randallstown sidestepped Sparrows Point for  a  5-3 win.
 The team  relied heavily on  Elijah Lee, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Nigel King also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
 Meanwhile, Lansdowne lost  11-1 to Catonsville on Tuesday.
 The  victory  got Randallstown back to even at 4-4. As for Lansdowne, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Randallstown has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.4  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lansdowne struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.8  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Randallstown couldn't quite get it done against Lansdowne in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 as they fell  5-2. Can the Rams avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
