Basketball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 76-48 loss at the hands of the Madison Bobcats. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-18.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Madison, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

Highland will host Thunder Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they are taking a road trip to square off against Rigby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Madison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Rigby likes a good challenge.
