Volleyball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence managed to slip by Copper Canyon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Aztecs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Copper Canyon, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Independence will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against McClintock at 6:00 p.m. As for Copper Canyon, they will face off against Carl Hayden Community at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
