On Thursday, Santee narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 51-49.
Santee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubrinee Tuttle led the charge by scoring 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Miley Pike, who scored 14 points.
Santee now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
