Soccer Game Preview: King vs. Santiago

The King Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the Santiago Sharks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. King's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

King fell victim to Norco and their airtight defense on Monday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that King have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Santiago and Corona finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Santiago's draw makes their record 7-5-4 this season. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

King might still be hurting after the 7-2 defeat they got from Santiago when the teams last played on January 9th. Can Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
