Meanwhile, Sequoyah faced Quinton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Sequoyah took down Quinton 51-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Sequoyah's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Cushing, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.
